The financing will be used to enhance and promote the revolutionary DOTGO mobile publishing platform.

Q&A with Stefan Gromoll, President of Technology and Co-Founder of DOTGO
Q: Briefly describe DOTGO’s product.
DOTGO is a revolutionary new mobile publishing platform that allows any company, brand, or web site to quickly, easily, and cheaply offer mobile services, with particular emphasis on text messaging. DOTGO allows anyone to create any kind of text messaging service, from sending text message alerts like those used by Obama to announce his VP pick, to setting up services like the recent American Red Cross text messaging donations for victims of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
Q: How does DOTGO uniquely stand out among their competition?
Prior to DOTGO, the creation of text messaging services had been hindered by high cost, complex technology, slow implementation time, and cumbersome branding. As a result, only larger companies had the time and resources to set up and promote their own text messaging services. DOTGO’s unique and patent-pending technology is the only mobile publishing service that solves all of these problems, for the first time allowing every single website–small to large–to offer their content and services to every cell phone by text messaging.
Q: What in your background enabled you to have the skills you needed to develop DOTGO’s product?
Both of DOTGO’s founders were trained as Observational Astrophysicists. Our experience in seeking the simplest and most elegant solutions to complex problems (both in Physics and in other fields) allowed us to identify the market opportunity in mobile and develop a completely new and revolutionary solution to the existing market problems. This analytical and innovative perspective to problem solving is a cornerstone of how we approach product development.
Q: What has helped DOTGO progress the most in terms of getting the product off the ground and into the market?
Patrick McQuown recently joined DOTGO as CEO. Patrick has been at the forefront of the mobile marketing industry since the mid 1990s, and has been responsible for launching mobile campaigns for major media outlets including NBC, ABC, CBS and MTV Networks. The addition of Patrick to the team is an exciting and very important step towards getting DOTGO to the next level.
Q: Why did you choose to partner with EPIC Ventures?
We chose to partner with EPIC Ventures because it was evident to us even after our first meeting that EPIC "got" DOTGO–they immediately grasped our technology and our vision and saw its potential.
EPIC Ventures invested in Aspen Avionics. Aspen Avionics is a manufacturer of drop-in multi-function device displays for light aircrafts.
